General Purpose Synthetic Rubbers

ESBR (emulsion polymerization styrene-butadiene rubber)

Typical type general purpose rubber with the properties of well-balanced tensile strength, tear strength, aging resistance and abrasion resistance, used for tires, belts, footwear and some other industrial rubber goods.

SSBR (solution polymerization styrene-butadiene rubber)

A type of SBR with special type of molecular structure. With good processability and dynamic properties. Used for high-performance and fuel-efficient tires.

BR (polybutadiene rubber)

With the properties of high abrasion resistance, good dynamic performance, low temperature performance and good processability. Used for tires, belts and many other rubber goods. Also good for use in golf balls because of good resilience.

IR (isoprene rubber)

Having similar molecular structure to natural rubber, the properties of good processability, easy vulcanization, high tensile strength and good resilience, which are notably not common in regular type rubbers.

Special-Purpose Synthetic Rubbers

IIR (butyl rubber)

Features good gas impermeability, thus, used mainly for tire tubes, tire inner liners. Also features good weatherability, ozone resistance and heat resistance.

JSR AT(syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene)

Good compatibility with natural rubber. With the properties of high hardness, high flow and good processability. Used for tires.

Special-Purpose Synthetic Rubbers

NBR (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene Rubber)

With good oil resistance, high abrasion resistance and heat resistance. Used for automobile parts, such as fuel hoses, packings and oil seals, as well as, printing rolls, blankets etc.

IIR (butyl rubber)

Features good gas impermeability, thus, used mainly for tire tubes, tire inner liners. Also features good weatherability, ozone resistance and heat resistance.

EPR (Ethylene Propylene Rubber)

With good heat aging resistance, weatherability, ozone resistance, used for cables and wires,heat resistance belts, car brake parts and other car parts such as radiator hoses, in addition to water proofing sheets and plastics modifiers.

Polymer Blends (NV, NE)

JSR NV Series are Polymer Alloys consisting of Acrylonitrile Rubber and Poly Vinyl Chloride.JSR NE Series are Polymer Alloys consisting of Nitrile Rubber and EPDM.

Thermoplastic Elastomers

JSR EXCELINK® (TPV:Thermoplastic Vulcanizates)

We have developed a new class of olefinic TPE (TPO) "JSR EXCELINK" based on JSR EPDM and compounding technology. They are good for not only recycling and environmental protection, but also injection moldability, simplification of production process and weight reduction. JSR EXCELINK are high functional TPO and available to replace conventional TPO and cured rubbers.

JSR RB (Syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene)

We have developed this grade as the only supplier in the world. Applications are broad. For example, the vibration absorbing materials for automobile, films, tubes, rubber shoe soles, some injection molded products and plastic modifiers.

JSR TR (Styrene Butadiene Thermoplastic Elastomer)

JSR TR is a styrene butadiene thermoplastic elastomer. At room temperature, the product has the same elasticity as vulcanized rubber. At high temperatures, JSR TR plasticizes, which makes it easily moldable.

JSR SIS (Styrene Isoprene Thermoplastic Elastomer)

Mainly used for hot melt type adhesives.

Hydrogenated Polymers

JSR DYNARON (Hydrogenated polymer)

JSR DYNARON is excellent modifier for softening Polypropylene(PP). PP is improved in transparency and flexibility.

ABS General Grade

This ABS resin offers impact resistance, high-fluidity, and high rigidity. It is used in items such as industrial products, electrical devices, household furnishings and game devices.

Weather-resistant Resin AES Grade

This ABS resin offers superior weather-resistance, shock resistance, rigidity and outstanding workability. It has wide-ranging use in automotive parts, tools for outdoor use, garden supplies and building materials. AES resin has the same shock resistance, mechanical properties and workability as general ABS resins, and can thus be molded in similar ways to general ABS resins.
