JSR Corporation’s greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets have been approved by Science Based Targets initiative(SBTi)
JSR Corporation (hereinafter “JSR”; Representative Director, CEO and President: Tetsuro Hori) is pleased to announce that the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets of our group companies, including subsidiaries, have been officially approved as science-based targets (SBT)1 by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)2, which is an international climate change initiative.

JSR will continue to reduce GHG emissions through its efforts to lower the environmental impact of its business activities.
1 Science-based targets align with the goals of the Paris Agreement, which aim to keep the global temperature rise well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels and to pursue efforts to limit it to 1.5°C.
