JSR Laboratories Manager Delivers Lecture on Globalization at a High School

On Tuesday, July 7, the Manager of the JSR Fine Electronic Materials Research Laboratories delivered a lecture to about 200 students at Escolapios Kaisei Catholic Senior High School, located near the JSR Yokkaichi Plant. The lecture theme was “cross-cultural understanding at foreign business bases”.
The lecture was organized as part of the school’s educational program for learning how to respond to globalization. The Manager spoke about his experience of working in Europe, the differences in the decision making process between Japan, the U.S., and Europe that he experienced through his work, fun things that could be experienced only by living in a foreign country, and other topics. He told the students that he hoped they will develop an interest in foreign countries and study a foreign language as a communication tool.
