JSR has decided to make a strategic investment into a micronized rubber powder manufacturing venture in the US

JSR Corporation today announced that it has decided to make a strategic investment in Lehigh Technologies, located in Tucker, Georgia. The company has a superior technology to manufacture micronized rubber powder by collecting end-of-life rubber materials such as tires.
JSR Corporation has been working on activities to reduce global environmental impact under its “E2 initiatives.”* JSR is also actively endorsing the concept of “Sustainable Carbon Chemistry”, which was named by the Japan Petrochemical Industry Association and is representing contribution of chemical industry, to promote its environment activities. To further these efforts, JSR decided to invest in Lehigh Technology because its technology offers our customer base a new material with a strong value proposition and sustainability benefits.
