On October 3, a JSR employee from the JSR Chiba Plant gave a lecture for roughly 150 students on outlines and characteristics of rubber, as well as quality assurance, under the theme of “The Manufacturing Process of Rubber and Its Quality Control.” The JSR Chiba Plant has been holding special lectures taught by JSR employees at the College of Industrial Technology, Nihon University in conjunction with Ichihara City (Chiba Prefecture) every year since 2005.

This joint effort began after JSR received a request from the City to cooperate in the strengthening of ties between the industrial field and schools.
