JSR Yokkaichi Plant Holds Work Experience Program for Middle School Students

Since fiscal 2008, JSR’s Yokkaichi Plant has been cooperating with local city schools to provide work experience programs for junior high school students as a part of JSR’s social contribution activity programs.
This time, two students from each of Yokkaichi Municipal Minami Junior High School and Shiohama Junior High School participated in a three-day program starting September 24 and October 1, respectively.
JSR allowed the students to experience a wide variety of workplaces specific to a chemical company, including the manufacturing floor and the laboratory, as well as to participate in fire extinguishing drills.
