Delivery Science Class "Interesting Experiments Classroom" Held for Elementary School Students for the Third Time in FY 2013

CSR 01/25/2013
Employees from the JSR Yokkaichi Plant conducted the 3rd "Interesting Experiments Classroom" this fiscal year for 95 fifth-year Yokkaichi Municipal Uchibe Elementary School students from three classes on January 22nd. Receiving comments such as, "I was surprised when rubber got made out of liquid" and "I started wanting to do something myself when I heard about other people working hard for the environment," the students seemed to have gotten a good opportunity to think about the environment and experience the fun of experiments.

Officials from corporations in the Yokkaichi chemical complex came to observe the classes and even joined in with the students in the rubber coagulation experiments. We hope the observers gained useful information about teaching students about the importance of wearing protective masks and gloves and other important points for their own delivery science classes.
