JSR Yokkaichi Plant Wins Award for Being a Workplace where "Men and Women Work Vibrantly" from Mie Prefecture Governor

CSR 11/30/2012
The JSR Yokkaichi Plant was recently awarded with the "Good Practice Award" by the Mie Prefecture Governor. It was chosen out of corporations registered in the "Men and Women Working Vibrantly" Registration System for its particularly proactive efforts.

Particularly high-scoring areas are as follows:
· Female employee's maternal-leave taking rates are 100%, there are cases of men taking paternal leave, and other signs that a fullfledged system is being used to its potential
· Interaction between the company and employees is active, including efforts such as employee awareness surveys
· The increase in female managerial-level staff; rise in the employment of women, non-Japanese, and those with disabilities; and other proactive efforts to improve diversity

As to the policies of "diversity" and "work life management" which are central to the registration system and in which we have engaged in on a company-wide scale since FY 2011, we will continue to work to create a workplace atmosphere that fosters them, where each and every employee can do their best keeps on leveling up based on the correct sharing of the goal of "improvement of both productivity and employee satisfaction."
