JSR took part in the Yokkaichi Board of Education-organized Science Seminar Part II: “City of Manufacturing Yokkaichi” at the Yokkaichi City Cultural Center for elementary school students and their guardians on August 8th.

At the JSR booth we held rubber coagulation (extracting rubber from liquid synthetic rubber latex) demonstrations titled “Witness the Moment Rubber is Made! Let’s Make Synthetic Rubber,” among other activities. The booth received positive reviews from the students, some saying “I want to do it again next year!”

We will continue to create opportunities for children to experience the fun and mystery of science.
