JSR's Commitment to CSR recognized at the Asia Future Forum 2010

In their first ever awarding of the prize, the Asia Corporate Social Responsibility Expert Committee selected JSR as one of the "East Asia 30."
Considering companies headquartered in Japan, Korea, and China, the Committee evaluates companies on their achievements in the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and issues awards to the top 30. Though CSR is a management concept that originated in the U.S. and Europe, the Committee also incorporates East-Asian values into their selection criteria.
Nine experts from Japan, China and Korea selected the top 30 companies from a total of 708 contenders, including 465 Japanese companies, after referencing their own CSR reports and data provided by a third party.
