A carboxyl-modified SB latex that displays superior chemical and mechanical stability. With strong adhesiveness and superior printing adaptability, PCL is used in applications such as paper coating and saturated paper.

Asphalt Pavement Modifier (ROADEX®)

An SBR latex used to modify asphalt in road paving. Various properties of asphalt, such as abrasion resistance, fluidity resistance, and low-temperature characteristics are improved, leading to asphalt longevity.

JSR RB (syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene)

We have developed a new class of olefinic TPE (TPO) "JSR EXCELINK" based on JSR EPDM and compounding technology. They are good for not only recycling and environmental protection, but also injection moldability, simplification of production process and weight reduction. JSR EXCELINK are high functional TPO and available to replace conventional TPO and cured rubbers.

Industorial Products

E-SBR (emulsion polymerization styrene-butadiene rubber)

Typical type general purpose rubber with the properties of well-balanced tensile strength, tear strength, aging resistance and abrasion resistance, used for tires, belts, footwear and some other industrial rubber goods.

BR (polybutadiene rubber)

With the properties of high abrasion resistance, good dynamic performance, low temperature performance and good processability. Used for tires, belts and many other rubber goods. Also good for use in golf balls because of good resilience.

IR (isoprene rubber)

Having similar molecular structure to natural rubber, the properties of good processability, easy vulcanization, high tensile strength and good resilience, which are notably not common in regular type rubbers.

NBR (nitrile rubber)

With good oil resistance, high abrasion resistance and heat resistance. Used for automobile parts, such as fuel hoses, packings and oil seals, as well as, printing rolls, blankets etc.

IIR (butyl rubber)

Features good gas impermeability, thus, used mainly for tire tubes, tire inner liners. Also features good weatherability, ozone resistance and heat resistance.

EPR (ethylene propylene rubber)

With good heat aging resistance, weatherability, ozone resistance, used for cables and wires,heat resistance belts, car brake parts and other car parts such as radiator hoses, in addition to water proofing sheets and plastics modifiers.

Polymer Blends (NV, NE)

JSR NV Series are Polymer Alloys consisting of Acrylonitrile Rubber and Poly Vinyl Chloride.JSR NE Series are Polymer Alloys consisting of Nitrile Rubber and EPDM.

JSR TR (Styrene Butadiene Thermoplastic Elastomer)

JSR TR is a styrene butadiene thermoplastic elastomer. At room temperature, the product has the same elasticity as vulcanized rubber. At high temperatures, JSR TR plasticizes, which makes it easily moldable.

JSR SIS (styrene isoprene thermoplastic elastomer)

Mainly used for hot melt type adhesives.

Highly Cross-linked Particles

With a very high degree of cross-linkage, these particles have heat resistance and hardness comparable to that of inorganic particles, in addition to an affinity to organic materials, which is a property unseen in inorganic particles. JSR manufactures particles with a diameter of less than one micrometer, in order to meet customer needs.

Adhesives

UV Curing Resin OPSTAR

The OPSTAR series are hybrid UV curable resins that offer good performance in a number of applications. This is achieved by combining the properties of nanoparticles such as silica together with unique binders using JSR proprietary developed materials such as urethane polymer and fluorine polymer.

Acrylic Emulsions

Displaying superior weather-resistance and heat-resistance (aging), acrylic emulsions also have high adhesiveness. It is used in exterior paints, floor polish and adhesives.

Styrene Butadiene (SB) Latex

With superior chemical and mechanical stability, SB latex is used in foam rubbers and carpet packing, and applications such as adhesion of industrial fibers and rubbers.

Stereolithography, Microwave Molding / Photo Molding

Stereolithography 3D Printer System

Stereolithography involves the conversion of stereograms designed by 3D CAD data into a data slice, and based on this data, the stereolithography resin is solidified per layer by a laser. Stereolithography is a method which enables molded objects to be manufactured with high precision.

HSR (high styrene rubber)

Good roll banding properties and processability. It excels in abrasion resistance, tear resistance and flex resistance, used for hard rubber and rigid sponge.

Liquid Crystal Alignment Films OPTMER AL Series

AL series (alignment coating materials) are used in manufacture of LCD. Both polyimide type (pre-imidized organic-solvent-soluble type) and polyamic acid type are available.

Heat-curable Protective Coating Materials OPTMER SS Series

SS series (heat-curable protective coating materials) are used for overcoatings of color filters. They are mainly composed of acrylic polymers. Both one-liquid type and two-liquid type are available. Two-liquid type is mixed just before using.

Heat resistant, Transparent, Photosensitive Protective Film OPTMER PC/NN Series

NN series (negative-tone photo resists composed of acrylic polymers) are mainly used as overcoating materials for COG (chip on glass)-type color filters, and also used for spacer formation of touch panels and LCD panels.
PC series are newly developed positive-tone photo resists, which are mainly composed of acrylic polymers.They are favorable for interlayer films of TFT arrays for high aperture design.

Pigment Dispersed Resist OPTMER CR Series

CR series (pigment dispersed negative-tone photo resists) are used to form color filter layers for LCD. Red, Green, Blue, and Black colors are available.

ARTON Resins

ARTON is a transparent resin (ring-forming olefin resin) which has superior optical properties, dimensional stability and furthermore, revolutionary heat resistance.
ARTON is a high functional resin suitable for optical applications such as optical films, light guide panels and optical lenses.

ARTON Films

ARTON FILM is an optical film that offers superior optical properties, dimensional stability and heat resistance. ARTON FILM is a film manufactured in a clean environment and has a high quality appearance, making it suitable for use in optical applications such as LCD retardation films and touch panels.

Solvent-based GLASCA (ceramic coating materials)

GLASCA maintains semi-permanent gloss with its superior weather-resistance, dirt-resistance and heat-resistance. It also offers outstanding hardness and transparency. GLASCA is used in applications such as cement construction materials and heat-resistant coloring for aluminum products.

*The development of this material was based on sol-gel technologies. This technology has received the Chemical Technology Prize from the Chemical Society of Japan in recognition of the development of organic and inorganic hybrid coating materials with the sol-gel method.

Functional Emulsion SIFCLEAR™Technical Data(PDF 304KB)

SIFCLEAR is a water-based emulsion made of hydrophobic units (Vinylidene fluoride system type and Siloxane system type) and hydrophilic units (acrylic polymers) made compatible at molecular level. It has high weather resistance and high stain resistance. Due to its transparency, SIFCLEAR also can be used as a transparent coating material.

Latent Heat Storage Material CALGRIP

By compatibilizing vinyl fluoride polymers with acrylic polymers at molecular level, it achieves excellent film formation and forming hard films compared to conventional fluoride emulsions.

This product can provide an ideal under-cut profile which is suitable for the foaming of electrode/wiring in the LED element manufacturing and so on as "Lift-off" photoresist.
