By taking advantage of the UV curing characteristics, application to OPSTER and Solid Creation System is contrived. It is said that the 21st century is an era of Opto-electronics, and anticipation and demand performance towards transparent materials is heightening all the more. As a material to substitute glass and transparent resins (methacrylate resin, polycarbonate resin) which are used at present, based on molecular design consistent from raw material monomer, JSR was the first in the world to develop and commercialize a transparent resin (ARTON) which boasts excellent optical characteristics, heat resistance and moldability.
