UV Curable Resins for Stereolithography (SCR series)

Resins for three dimensional solid modeling has been developed and commercialized. A UV laser operated by the three dimensional CAD data cures UV curable resins layer by layer to create a three dimensional object. The UV curable epoxy or urethane base DeSolite SCR resins allow us to fabricate models with excellent accuracy and resolution in addition to well balanced mechanical properties. This technology can eliminate a time and cost consuming manufacturing process of functional models in small numbers.

UV Curable Materials for Optical Use (DeSolite Z series)

An excellent performance in optical transparency of cured coating is preferably accepted for several optical applications. For the protective coatings for plastic lenses and films, inorganic and organic hybrid UV curable coating system has been developed. Highest pencil hardness was achieved by the silica dispersed transparent UV cured coatings. For adhesives for optical use, such as plastic lense, films, and DVD disk, high performance in adhesion to the various substrates including metal and in cure speed have been achieved. In addition to these, establishing the technology to control the refractive index of cured resins ranging from 1.49 to 1.59 has enabled us to develop plastic lenses.
